Mixed media, March 2005
This is one of a few column illustrations I did for the current issue of
Manual (April 2005). Also contributing are old
Alamat-ers
David Hontiveros (he wrote entertainment articles),
Budjette Tan (he wrote a short story) and Bow Guerrero (he did a drawing that accompanies Budj's work).

i remember submitting an artwork once or twice to funny komiks when i was younger. i liked niknok and amphibia then. i dont know if funny komiks still exists today. do you know of any local comic book which publish submitted fan amateur artworks?
That's interesting. I used to collect Funny Komiks when it started 'til I was in Grade 3, I think. I like Super Kat, Niknok, Mahimud Ali, and Darmo Adarna. I think it still exists, but I haven't checked the newsstands lately. Local fan artwork... I think some people accept them, depending on which title it is. Try checking out the local magazines, too. They might hire you as an illustrator; you've got the talent for it. :)
