Home

Just feeling ruminative after a day of doing some repetitive chores. Been feeling a little stressed out by some things at home and work... things will get back to normal soon, I hope. Glad to know that people important to me are around to keep me safe and sane. There's nothing like being reassured that those who care about you can calm you amidst the chaos. Their names and faces become mantras that soothe my mind. I feel blessed.

This blog has been helpful to me, too. I started this early this year, partly because I needed a venue where I can freely plug my comic book, and mostly because it was time that I started sharing my thoughts instead of just reading other people's. The universe revolves around me here. Thank you for visiting my humble corner time and again, people.

"It's easy t'moon over a lost love -- t'fantasize over what might have been, secure in the knowledge that it'll never happen -- it makes a great excuse for not facin' the risks an' demands o' reality." -- Logan to Peter Rasputin, Uncanny X-Men # 183 (July 1984)

Oh wow X-Men #183! :) Back before the had all those cross-overs. I've finally caught up with the new X-Men continuity and I'm just happy I stopped reading it when I did. Lots of good art in recent years though.

Hey Mark!
Yep, back when there was only one X-team. I actually stopped getting the titles in the early '90s and started reading some of them again when Grant Morrison took over New X-Men four years ago.

X-Men # 183 introduced me to JR jr's art (and some of the newer mutants like Rogue). It looked and felt unique to me during the time.

yup, the people who love you come in handy in making you feel you're not alone.

but when the chaos is within, there's nothing like good old blog to turn to.

True. It's a space where I can rant. And cry for help. :)
